Gillian Chung dedicates new song to Michael Lai
10 Dec – Gillian Chung recently admitted that her new song, "Happiness Heard" is dedicated to her husband-to-be, Michael Lai.
As reported on Mingpao, the singer, who promoted the new song recently, shared that the song is the most touching piece of music she has ever recorded since her debut.
"I couldn't help but tear up whenever I hear the song, especially the lyrics, "As long as you love me so much, and I love you so much, it's enough"," she said.
As to why she didn't invite Michael to be the male lead in the music video, Gillian said that she did think about it but that her husband couldn't find time to do it.
Gillian also admitted that she originally intended to release the song at their wedding.
"But I was so touched after listening to it that I can't help but share it," she said.
