GEM Tang announces new work studio
26 Apr – Despite being entangled in a court case over her contractual dispute with Hummingbird Music, it was reported that GEM Tang has recently established her own work studio.
As reported on Mingpao, GEM recently announced the creation of a new account the social media platform, using the handle, "GEM Studio".
She also shared a photo of a couple of diamond-shaped badges, and revealed that she has established a new fan club called House of Glory, which is inspired by her own English name Gloria.
"I have specially designed this badge of glory for all the Gloryers!" she added.
GEM and Hummingbird Music filed a case against one another at the High Court earlier this month, after the latter claimed that she breached her contract when she decided to leave the company. On the other hand, the singer accused Hummingbird of contract breach themselves, for forcing her to sign a renewal and taking jobs she hadn't agreed upon.
