Gazini Ganados not saddened by Miss Universe loss

10 Dec – Although she didn't succeed in making sure that the Miss Universe crown stays in the Philippines, Gazini Ganados is not at all saddened by her loss.

As reported on PEP, the beauty queen, who spoke to the media at the after-party of the 68th Miss Universe pageant, stated that she is doing fine and is happy to be able to fulfil all the things that she wanted to do despite not winning the title.

"I know I did my best, that's why I am not sad. I didn't even cry. My mum was the one who cried for me. I'm fulfilled with the things I've already done," she said.

Ganados added that when she was not called in the Top 10, all she could think of was that God has other plans for her.

The beauty queen also expressed her happiness with the winner, Miss South Africa Zozibini Tunzi.

"What I learned from this batch, no matter what happens, if you win or not, you still have a sister in everyone. That's what I love about everyone's personality. Everyone's unique," she added.

On the other hand, Ganados revealed that she will not immediately return to the Philippines, as she will accompany her mother to visit relatives in Los Angeles.
