Gal Gadot Wraps Wonder Woman Solo Movie

It’s a wrap – ‘Wonder Woman’ has finished shooting.

According to ‘Wonder Woman’ star Gal Gadot, principal photography of her upcoming solo film has just finished… and will now be heading to post-production.

“Today was my last day shooting the solo Wonder Woman movie!” she said via Facebook.

And it sounds as though she’s had a hell of a time…

“It’s been such an amazing, exciting, dreamy, happy and fascinating experience I will cherish it forever. Thank you to everyone who was involved, our amazing cast, crew and phenomenal director. ❤”

Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman recently debuted in ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice’… and while the movie gathered many critics, it has to be said – Gal Gadot absolutely knocked it out of the park.

And that makes us very excited for the ‘Wonder Woman’ solo film.

‘Wonder Woman’ began shooting in the UK back in November… and has since travelled to France and Italy for some of its more exotic locations.

We’ve already seen some of Wonder Woman’s fellow Amazonians as they appear on the Isle of Themyscira… and even some behind-the-scenes photos of love interest Steve Trevor and his pals turning up on the lost Amazonian island.

After the ‘Wonder Woman’ movie, Gadot will next reprise her role in the upcoming ‘Justice League’ movies – with Part One arriving 17 November 2017.

Will Wonder Woman’s first solo outing feature any other members of the Justice League?

For now, we’ll have to wait and see… but if it’s anything like ‘Batman V Superman’ I’m guessing we can expect a cameo or two.

Gal Gadot stars as Wonder Woman, with Robin Wright as General Antiope, Connie Nelson as Queen Hippolyta, Lisa Loven Kongsli as Menalippe, and Chris Pine as Steve Trevor. Patty Jenkins is directing, based on a script by Jason Fuchs.

‘Wonder Woman’ heads to cinemas on 2 June 2017.
