Gabrielle Union Wore a Half-Dress, Half-Bikini Gown — But Looked 100 Percent Gorgeous
It takes enough guts to wear a bikini to the beach — so imagine how much confidence Gabrielle Union must’ve had to conjure in order to basically wear a bathing suit with half a cover up on the red carpet.
At the Vanity Fair Oscars Party on Sunday night, the actress wore a gown designed by Jean Paul Gaultier. The revealing number, which seemed to combine parts of a one-shoulder black gown and an electric blue two-piece to make one look, showed off her toned abs and her entire left leg.

The actress shared a picture of herself on Instagram with the caption “Gaultier Goodness ❤” and commenters on the post agreed. “Gurrrrrrl you wearing that dress, to express????,” one wrote. Another described the look a “slam dunk” and someone else called Union an “inspiration.”
Many couldn’t believe that the Being Mary Jane star is actually 44. “she. does. not. age. ????,” Yaisha Perez shared. Another wrote, “My God….how does one reset the age clock like this! It’s a crime.”

Gaultier also shared a picture of Union, and wrote in the caption “G for Goddess!”
