Gabrielle Union has opened up about her dismissal from the America's Got Talent judging panel.
Last week, it was announced the Bring It On star and fellow new judge Julianne Hough would not be returning to the popular show after just one season, leaving fans to speculate over the reason for her dismissal.
Following rumours of a disagreement with bosses and a "toxic" atmosphere on set, the star took to Twitter on Wednesday to thank fans for their continued support.
"So many tears, so much gratitude. THANK YOU! Just when you feel lost, adrift, alone... you got me up off the ground. Humbled and thankful, forever," she tweeted.
While the actress didn't address the NBC show directly, she went on to like a tweet from a reporter who mentioned she'd been "fired" from the franchise.
It comes after the star's husband Dwyane Wade shared his support for his wife, with the retired basketball superstar suggesting bosses tried to pin a dip in viewership on the new judges.
"Men lie, Women lie, numbers don’t," he tweeted on Wednesday. "Over this past year I've been approached by many people saying that my wife @itsgabrielleu is the main reason they’ve started watching #AGT or that they love her insight and sincerity on the show.
"So when i got the news that my wife was being fired - my first question was obviously why!? Iam (sic) still waiting on a good answer to that question. But if anyone knows @itsgabrielleu or have heard of her you know she’s an advocate for our community and culture."
Meanwhile, show officials insisted in a statement "refreshing" the judging line-up is normal for the show, and added: "NBC and the producers take any issues on set seriously".
