Gabby Concepcion is happy for Cloie Syquia
24 Sep – Gabby Concepcion recently spoke for the first time about estranged daughter Cloie Syquia Skarne, who is set to compete in the upcoming Miss Universe Sweden.
As reported on PEP, the actor who spoke to GMA's "24 Oras", said that he has been hearing a lot of good things about Syquia-Skarne, and is happy for her.
"I'm just really sorry that I didn't have the chance to grow up with her, or she didn't have the chance to grow up with me. But my heart is there, and I wish her all the best," he said.
Cloie is the daughter of Concepcion with his second wife, Jenny Syquia, a Filipina-American model whom he married in 1993 a few years after separating from actress Sharon Cuneta.
However, the couple annulled their marriage in 1996, with Syquia marrying Swedish boyfriend Filip Skarne the year after. He then legally adopted Cloie, who was two-years-old at the time.
Cloie recently announced that she will be competing in Miss Universe Sweden. She previously represented the country in Miss Earth 2016.
