G-Eazy's Out Here Gushing Over How "Exceptionally Talented" Ashley Benson Is
G-Eazy spoke about Ashley Benson while promoting their new song, "Hate the Way."
G-Eazy gushed about Ashley and said that she is a woman of many talents.
It's honestly been a minute since we've heard about G-Eazy and Ashley Benson's kinda sorta maybe relationship, but that's about to change RTFN because G-Eazy's giving us the lowdown on what he thinks of Ashley and her many talents to the point that he's practically gushing over her. How cute!
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, G-Eazy talked about what it's been like recording music with Ashley, and shared that he thinks she's a gifted vocalist.
“She’s an exceptionally talented person in many different spaces,” he explained. “She’s a special one. Obviously, she’s a great actress, but, you know, getting to work with her and putting her in front of a microphone and watching her sing so effortlessly, she has this very special tone of voice and texture and something that’s very innate to her given that’s not her first job or what she’s known for. It just blew me away that you can have such a hidden, special talent that the world doesn’t get to see as often.”
G-Eazy also shared that his past relationships give him major inspo for his song writing. Right about now feels like a great time to mention that G-Eazy's ex-girlfriend Halsey (whose real name is Ashley, ironically enough) is dating Cara Delevingne...who is also Ashley Benson's ex-girlfriend!
“I’ve experienced love in my life,” he said. “I’ve experienced heartbreak in my life and caused heartbreak in my life and received heartbreak in my life. The power of music is to express and capture the human experience. We live and we experience things. Music for us is an outlet, a way to channel the things we go through and put into a tangible forum.”
