Is KFC open on Thanksgiving Day 2022?
You'll have to look elsewhere for your Thanksgiving Day chicken fix. KFC is only closed two days a year, and Thanksgiving is one of them (the other, as you might expect, is Christmas Day). Like many major retailers like Walmart and Target, the chain closes on these major holidays to give their employees time to spend with their families. A KFC spokesperson told Country Living, "Most of KFC’s restaurants across the country will be closed on Thanksgiving Day so our team members can enjoy time with their families. We recommend checking directly with local KFC restaurants to confirm whether they are operating with holiday hours."
Other fast-food restaurants, like McDonald's and Subway, stay open on the holiday, so you won't have to worry about going hungry. And if you're looking for a sit-down meal, plenty of restaurants are open on Thanksgiving Day too. If your heart is set on chicken, head to KFC on November 25.
