Jennifer Lopez might have moved on from her relationship with Alex Rodriguez, but apparently A-Rod doesn’t plan on dating again anytime soon! Uh, despite the fact that he was spotted at a party with Ben Affleck’s ex-girlfriend Lindsay Shookus, causing the internet to flail around in a panic. Turns out, these two are just friends, and a source tells Entertainment Tonight that A-Rod is gonna be single for the foreseeable future: “He was at her house for an hour. He is friends with a lot of women. He isn’t going to be dating for a while.” Noted!

Back in early May, there were reports about how “shocked” and “saddened” A-Rod was about Jennifer and Ben’s reunion, and apparently, he even reached out to let J.Lo know he was “upset” despite the fact that she was, um, “not interested in rekindling anything with A-Rod” and was “done.”

Honestly, this was the vibe:

However, more recently our dude has moved on. “When they first split, he wanted to work things out and still held on to hope that he and J.Lo would get back together,” a source recently told Entertainment Tonight. “He’s come to terms with the fact that it’s over now.”

As a reminder, sources told ET back in April that J.Lo “tried her hardest” to make things with with A-Rod, but their relationship simply “wasn’t making her happy anymore.”

“She knew it was time to let go. There were issues when it came to wedding plans and trust issues that she couldn’t get past,” the source said. “Her kids are sad about the breakup because they all grew so close but ultimately want what’s best for their mom and for her to be happy. There is still love and respect between the two families.”

TBD if A-Rod still has that J.Lo shrine up in his house, but I’m gonna assume nope!
