For more calming weekend activities with the family, you can head down to the Asian Civilisations Museum (ACM) for their latest exhibition Life In Edo | Russel Wong In Kyoto.

Very much like the other galleries and installation at ACM, these exhibitions are a fascinating walk through Japanese culture. Life In Edo uncovers the everyday occurrences of the Edo period showcasing woodblock prints and paintings. Meanwhile, Russel Wong In Kyoto features photographs of the photographer himself through his 13-year-long and ongoing personal project.

You can still have some weekend fun at home by joining NParks’ Gardeners’ Day Out programmes! For those wanting to polish their gardening skills, this is the perfect way to spend your Saturday (17 April). You can join the experts as they share their knowledge of plants through talks and demonstrations.

There will also be video tutorials as part of their kid-friendly weekend activities with family.

6. Collect a free hand sanitiser to stay safe during your weekend activities with family

Of course, proper safety and sanitisation should also be part of your weekend activities with family. The Temasek Foundation has launched automated vending machines for you to get a free 500ml worth of hand sanitiser.

These are alcohol-free and contains 0.2% benzalkonium chloride (BKC). This makes them a useful tool to fight against coronavirus. So before having a fun day out with the kids, make sure to stay safe and healthy!

7. Have some tropical fun at The Sea of Tiki

That’s what in store this weekend. Some incredibly fun activities for the family! We hope we’ve given you ideas on how you can spend the next two days with your children.
