Fullscreen ‘Celebs React’ Comedy Series Features Kevin Hart, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Tyler Oakley, Grace Helbig

Fullscreen has picked up Fine Brothers Entertainment’s “Celebs React” half-hour series, capturing the spontaneous reactions of more than two dozen stars from film, TV, social media and music as they watch weird viral videos and engage in uncomfortable challenges.

The show’s guests include Kevin Hart (“What Now?”, “Ride Along”), Jesse Tyler Ferguson (“Modern Family”), and YouTube stars Tyler Oakley (“The Tyler Oakley Show” from Ellen DeGeneres’ Ellen Digital Network) and Grace Helbig (“Dirty 30,” “Not Too Deep with Grace Helbig”)

“Celebs React” is a variation on the “React” format that brothers Benny and Rafi Fine have turned into a multiplatform franchise, spanning several YouTube channels and a show that aired on Nickelodeon.

The eight-episode series is slated to premiere Nov. 1 on Fullscreen’s $5 monthly subscription video-on-demand service, with new 25-minute episodes rolling out each Tuesday. The celebs will react to viral videos like the Chewbacca Mom and the “Crazy Nastyass Honey Badger,” engage in challenges like eating booger-flavored jellybeans, and play virtual-reality games.

Other actors, digital influencers and musicians appearing in “Celebs React” include: Hannibal Buress (“Broad City”), James Van Der Beek (“Dawson’s Creek“), Candace Cameron Bure (“Fuller House”), Keegan Allen (“Pretty Little Liars”), musician Lance Bass, Ta’Rhonda Jones (“Empire”), WWE’s The Miz, Chris Jericho, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Sheamus, musician Christina Milian, Justin Baldoni (“Jane the Virgin”), entrepreneur Mark Cuban (“Shark Tank”), YouTube and podcast personality Tyler Oakley, Karan Brar (“Bunk’d”), Patrick J. Adams (“Suits”), host Ross Mathews, Melissa Peterman (“Reba”), musicians Tegan & Sara, Chad Johnson (“The Bachelor”), YouTuber and actress Jenn McAllister (aka jennxpenn), and Todrick Hall and musicians SuperFruit.

“Celebs React” was created by Benny and Rafi Fine, who also serve as executive producers alongside Max Benator, Tara Siener and Brandie Tucker.

Launched in April, the ad-free Fullscreen SVOD service includes original shows and TV and film content licensed from studio partners. The service is available worldwide on the web, via iPhone, iPad, select Android phones, Google Chromecast and Apple TV. Fullscreen Media is majority owned by Otter Media, a joint venture of AT&T and the Chernin Group.

Fine Brothers Entertainment develops and produces shows for both traditional and online media. Projects include the half-hour comedy “Sing It” on YouTube Red, while the company is currently in post-production on its first feature film, “F*&% the Prom,” which is slated for release later this fall. FBE had planned to create an online network of creators making “React” videos, but scrapped the plans after critics accused the company of trying to assert ownership over the widely used reaction-video format.
