Friends knew about Selena Lee's relationship
9 Feb – Although Selena Lee's engagement came as surprising news to many due to the fact that she had never spoken about being in a relationship, close celebrity friends like Myolie Wu and Nancy Wu revealed that they have known about it for a long time.
As reported on Mingpao, Myolie, who alongside Nancy, are part of their celebrity friends-group called the Nonsense Club, shared that she has nothing but well-wishes for the actress, who is currently filming in Canada.
"I have known it for a while. I am so happy and looking forward to the wedding," she enthused.
Nancy expressed similar feelings, saying that she saw Selena announcing that she had said yes on the internet.
"I am so happy for her to be able to find a lifelong partner who will cherish her. I hope that she will return to Hong Kong soon after finishing her TV series. I hope they will get married and have a baby as soon as possible. Selena really loves children," she said.
As for Patrick Tang, who had dated Selena in the late 2000s, the singer stated that he knew the actress' other half.
"Selena and I maintained a good relationship. I wish her all happiness," he said.
Patrick married singer Sukie Shek in December 2017.
