A frequent flyer’s has taken to social media to share his travel hacks and the Internet is all over it.

Who doesn’t love going on holiday? But airport queues, jetlag and bad plane food can all be sources of travel stress.

And with recent research revealing that the prospect of an upcoming trip makes almost three quarters (73%) of us anxious, anything that can make your trip that little bit stress-less has got to be a good thing.

And who better to offer that advice than someone who travels regularly?

Twitter user @KhanStopMe decided to share some of his holiday hacks to social media and people loved it so much it became a Twitter moment.

“I fly a lot. A thread of what I learnt,” he wrote.

His nifty tips include using melatonin when “jetlag hits you on the second night”, taking antibacterial wipes for the food tray on the flight and never checking bags “Pack for max 10 days & do laundry,” he writes.

In terms of your travel kit, Taha has some must-haves including noise cancelling headphone and eye masks, although he doesn’t believe that those neck pillows are worth the hassle.

Suitcase wise he suggests that good bags are worth their weight in travel gold. “I use an Away Suitcase and a Peak Design Backpack,” he says.

He’s also got some handy hints when it comes to bagging a seat in first or business class.

“Ask for upgrades at the gate every time,” he suggests. “Sometimes they’re really cheap.”

Getting through airport security is no doubt the cause of many people’s travel-stress, but Taha has some advice for reducing the pain.

“Passports are pocket sized. Keep it on you from start to finish,” he says.

And: “Always take off belt, shoes and jackets at security, even if they don’t ask, it saves you any trouble.”

He also suggests keeping electrics in your backpack. “Repacking your suitcase after an inspection is a nightmare,” he adds.

Finishing up his handy post Taha also invited others to share their own travel tips and the Internet was quick to chime in with their own holiday hacks.

Now Taha is hoping the huge response to his holiday hints might bag him an upgrade on his next trip.
