Frankie Lam vows to do his best for ATV

31 Dec – Frankie Lam vows to do his best to help resolve the issues surrounding Asia Television Ltd. (ATV) as soon as he officially begins his duty as the new Vice President of the said station in January 2020.

As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who appeared at the Miss Asia Pageant 2019, stated that it is important for him to ensure that investments continue to pour in so that the company will be able to resume normal operation.

"This is a given. If the internal issues remain unresolved when I take office, should I even be doing this job? I hope that I can relieve everyone's concern and do my job well. As far as I know, there is no cause for concern right now," he said.

Meanwhile, when asked if he will continue to promote with TVB, since his upcoming series, "Life After Death", with the broadcaster is expected to air in April 2020, Frankie said that he has no issue collaborating with the company.

"I'm just not sure what TVB thinks. For me, the entertainment world should be united, so I am willing to cooperate. We shouldn't act like enemies," he said.

Asked if he is worried that the drama might get shelved, Frankie stated that having a series in schedule does not always mean that it will definitely be released in that particular month.

"There is no need to worry. Just do a good job," he added.
