09 Sep 2018: Fortnite now has 15 million+ downloads on Android

Epic Games, recently, launched Fortnite on Android. It debuted on Galaxy Note 9.

In less than a month, it has amassed more than 15 million installs.

Even though the game is in invite-only phase, it has attracted nearly 23 million gamers on Android.

Notably, the game is not available on Play Store and you must be beware of malware masquerading as fake Fortnite applications.

Android: An epic gaming experience

The developers of Fortnite have painstakingly worked with Google to improve gameplay experience on Android devices.

They have introduced four settings in the game- low, medium, high and epic. The game will adjust to these modes depending on the hardware specifications of the device.

However, it is wise to opt for newer phones in case you are interested in heavy gaming.

iOS: Epic to release a patch for iOS users

Although Fortnite is aggressively expanding in the Android universe, the developers have not forgotten their iOS base.

They are fixing some performance issues to ensure smoother gameplay.

Epic, officially, announced that it would be releasing a patch so that iOS users can play the Limited Time Mode and Getaway event.

Its foray into mobile gaming means Fortnite is looking to take on PUBG.
