Former U-Kiss member joins Heart Evangelista in new drama

U-Kiss' Alexander Lee will play the lead in Evangelista's new soap, "My Korean Jagiya"

28 Jul - Former U-Kiss member Alexander Lee admitted that he is nervous about his first Filipino drama, co-starring Heart Evangelista.

As reported on Inquirer, the Korean star whose involvement in the upcoming GMA-7 soap, "My Korean Jagiya" was announced on 25 July, said that he has no idea how the drama is going to be.

"I know Heart is going to be in it, so I was really nervous and excited. I never thought I would be back to filming dramas," he said.

In another interview, Lee shared that his character in the upcoming drama will be a mixture of his other drama characters.

Lee, a Sino-Korean with Portuguese roots is also multilingual, having the ability to speak in English, Korean, Cantonese, and Mandarin, and a basic knowledge in three other languages. Tagalog is not one of them.

Lee left the K-pop boyband, U-Kiss back in 2011, and launched his solo singing career before becoming an actor.

The upcoming drama will be directed by Mark Reyes and also star Edgar Allan de Guzman, Iya Villania, and Jinri Park.
