Former teen actress nabbed in buy-bust operation
18 Jul – Former teen actress Angela Garcia Bobis was recently arrested in a buy-bust operation in Bacoor, Cavite.
As reported on Rappler, the news was confirmed by Bacoor City Police Station's Lt. Col. Vicente Cabatingan, who stated that Bobis' live-in partner Vladimir Bersana named the actress as well as several others as his accomplice following his arrest.
The police also confiscated 10.08 grams of shabu worth P68,544 from Bobis and the other suspects. They are currently being detained at the Bacoor City Detention Center and facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Bobis, who used the name Angela Zamora back when she was active in showbiz, was part of Batch 5 of Kapamilya's Star Circle. Among stars who were also a part of the batch include Shaina Magdayao, Bernard Palanca, and John Lloyd Cruz.
She has worked in several films including "Gangland", and "Nagbibinata".
