Former NFL Player Arrested While Naked, Again

Former Detroit Lions cornerback Stanley Wilson II was arrested on Saturday when he attempted to force his way into a home in Oregon and then stripped naked, police said.

The homeowners told authorities that Wilson, 34, was acting erratically when he tried to break into the house in Woodburn, Oregon, the Associated Press reported.

When the officers arrived to investigate, Wilson came out of the garden shed — naked. He was then transported to the Marion County Jail.

This is the third strange incident involving the son of famed Cincinnati Bengals running back Stanley Wilson Sr.

In June 2016, Wilson was shot by an elderly homeowner while trying to break into a home in Portland, Oregon. He was hospitalized for his injuries and then charged with attempted robbery.

Last month, he was once again arrested — again naked — when a police officer spotted him roaming around another Portland neighborhood, appearing as if he was on drugs.

On Feb. 13, Wilson was sentenced to 10 days in jail with three years of probation for the June 2016 incident.

After being drafted out of Stanford with the 72nd overall pick by the Lions in 2005, Wilson played three seasons in Detroit, from 2005-2007.
