"Forensic Heroes IV" confirms reshoots

8 May – After much speculations, TVB finally confirmed that they will be reshooting its upcoming drama, "Forensic Heroes IV".

As reported on On CC, the news was announced by producer Mui Siu Ching, who stated that in the wake of the OnSum Scandal, all the scenes involving cast member Jacqueline Wong will be replaced with a different actress.

While Jacqueline was not the lead actress, it is noted that her character occupied one third of the story and has interaction with multiple characters in the show.

It is also estimated that TVB will lose an estimate of HKD 10 million for the reshoots, which will take two weeks to complete and will start next month.

Mui stated that since the drama is scheduled for a November 2019 release, the reshoots had to be done as soon as possible. While mainland investors wanted to digitally alter Jacqueline's face, the producer stated that she is more comfortable with the idea of reshooting the scenes instead.

Among the show's stars who will have to reshoot their scenes include Raymond Wong, Shaun Tam, and Selena Lee.
