We will be the first to watch "Tenet" in cinemas before the US

28 Jul – Having faced delay after delay, "Tenet" finally settles on a confirmed theatrical release date. However, the new date doesn't include US cinemas.
CNN Business reported that the highly anticipated Christopher Nolan-helmed film is set to open in cinemas internationally this 26 August.
Though the full list of countries has not revealed, it is known that the movie will be released in 70 countries including Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Russia, Japan, Korea, and the United Kingdom.
This doesn't mean "Tenet" won't be releasing in the US at all anytime soon, however. Reportedly, it will be screened in select US cinemas from 3 September onwards.
It was just last week that it was reported the John David Washington and Robert Pattinson-starrer had been postponed indefinitely, though Warner Bros. chairman Toby Emmerich did hint at the studio's plan for a staggered release.
"Tenet" was originally scheduled for release in North American cinemas on 17 July. It was later pushed to 31 July and then 12 August when major cinemas in the US were still unable to resume operations due to the country's worsening condition caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
