Though February 24th was a pretty awful day for the Palmer family, for Twin Peaks fans, it’s now officially the day we all got to see the first two posters from the beloved series’ upcoming Showtime revival.

So we’re sorry, Laura, but we’ll keep celebrating the hell out of #TwinPeaksDay — though we fully admit that it does feel kind of strange to annually honor the day your body washed up to shore.

Showtime, in honor of this yearly “holiday” cherished by fans of David Lynch’s work, unveiled two brand new posters for its 18-episode revival, which will premiere on May 21st, 2017. One features Laura Palmer’s (Sheryl Lee) iconic homecoming queen photo from 1989, while the other features a modern-day Agent Dale Cooper (Kyle MacLachlan).

Both bear the phrase “it is happening again” and prominently feature the Twin Peaks woods that house so much supernatural evil.

Though it may not seem like it, the posters do contain clues — just probably clues that the Twin Peaks fandom had already guessed.

The phrase “it is happening again” was spoken by The Giant (Carel Struycken) in the original series when Laura’s cousin, Maddy, was being murdered, and therefore heavily suggests that the revival series will focus on even more young people being murdered.

…And of course, the woods that housed horrors of rape, abuse, murder, cocaine, and more will likely play a major role in the series again, since they’re pretty much what makes the town of Twin Peaks, Washington so special — and so creepy — to begin with.
