"First Strike" explains missing Fan Bingbing on new poster

15 Aug – A representative of the new movie, "Air Strike" has denied speculations regarding the absence of Fan Bingbing's name on their new poster.

According to Sina, earlier this week, amid reports of the actress' supposed tax evasion scandal and her subsequent disappearance, it was revealed that the aforementioned movie has postponed its release schedule from 17 August to 26 October.

The media also noticed the lack of Fan's name on the new poster.

However, when asked about it, its rep stated that there is nothing suspicious about the new development, as Fan was only one of the many guest actors of the upcoming films.

The rep added that the new poster only lists names of the lead stars.

As for the delay, a letter from the worldwide sales agent of the movie suggested that the postponement of the movie is so that it would synchronise with the worldwide release of the movie and minimise global piracy issues.

The upcoming movie, which revolves around five Chinese people who try to protect an important military machine in Chongqing during the Japanese Air Force attack in WWII, boasts a star-studded cast that includes Liu Ye, Nicholas Tse, William Chan, Korean actor Song Seung-hun, and Hollywood actors Bruce Willis and Adrien Brody.
