First Official Justice League Concept Art Reveals Cyborg & The Flash

It’s official – we’ve finally got our first glimpse at the Justice League.

Warner Bros. unveiled this official first image via the new DC Films Official Facebook Page, and it finally gives us our first look at the Justice League. Here, we see Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman standing together… presumably after the events of ‘Dawn of Justice’.

And now Cyborg and The Flash have joined them.

It’s a long time since we first found out that Cyborg and The Flash would be joining the Justice League – played by Ray Fisher and Ezra Miller, respectively. But now we’ve finally got our first glimpse at these iconic DC heroes…

And they look pretty awesome.

Of course, Jason Momoa’s Aquaman is also in the Justice league lineup… but lets focus on these new additions for a moment.

While the new concept art features the distinctive gritty, sepia tones that the DC universe is becoming famous for, it’s easy to pick out some of the more obvious details – including the rather impressive cybernetic implants of Cyborg.

And with a distinctly robotic look running down his torso, it looks as though Cyborg’s enhancements are just as extensive as his comic book counterpart. And that’s bound to please the comic book fans.

And then there’s The Flash’s classic red costume… including that familiar hood.

But while many fans were taken by surprise at Ezra Miller’s casting, it looks as though the young actor will be bulking up significantly – at least, if the concept art is anything to go by. But will The Flash’s design prove to be more impressive than the TV version? For now, we have to wait and see.

Of course, there’s also one notable absence – Green Lantern.

Already confirmed to be getting his own solo movie in 2020, it’s rather suspicious that he’s been omitted from this Justice League concept art. Does this mean he’ll be sitting out of the ‘Justice League’ movie, or is he simply not being revealed just yet?

For now, we’ll have to wait and see… but with a Justice League special airing during tonight’s episode of ‘The Flash’ in the states, it might not be long before we find out.

‘Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice’ heads to cinemas on 25 March 2016.
