"Finding Her Voice" stars saddened by decision not to reshoot

26 Jun – Following news that TVB drama "Finding Her Voice" will not be reshooting scenes involving Jacqueline Wong, some of its stars recently expressed their own thoughts about the matter.

As reported on Mingpao, veteran actor Chung King Fai, who was contacted by the media immediately after the announcement, stated that he has accepted the decision made by the team. It is noted that producer Wong Wai Sing previously stated that the series will not be replacing Jacqueline – who has been MIA since her involvement with singer Andy Hui – due to several issues including schedule clashes and loss of filming sets.

Chung, who agreed with Wong, said, "It's hard to shoot at some of the locations again. The hotel we shot at earlier has also been under renovation for months now."

Asked if he is worried that the drama might suffer the same fate as Jacqueline's other drama, "The Offliner", he responded, "That's TVB's decision. I have no opinion about that."

Hugo Ng, who also played a big role in the drama, admitted that he was a bit disappointed, as it was rare for him to get to play the good guy in a drama like he did in the said series.

"I only hope that it will be broadcast soon," he said.

Meanwhie, Kaman Kong recently shared a photo of her looking solemn, which she captioned, "I am confident that the efforts will not go to waste, but the time hasn't come yet."
