Starring Ben Affleck as Batman and Henry Cavill as Superman, the rather awesome trailer finally gives us a closer look at the Dark Knight in action. And as Batman prepares to take on his biggest foe to date, one thing is certain…

Coming in hot from the Batwing, Gotham’s favourite vigilante takes on a group of armed assailants… and we finally get some idea of the Batman’s brutal (yet extremely effective) fighting style.
Clearly, he’s a bit of a brawler… and it now makes sense why Ben Affleck bulked up quite so much for the role – the Dark Knight’s presence is dominating.
Even when he goes up against the Man of Steel.
It’s not long before Batman is squaring up to Earth’s biggest hero – but it might not be the one-sided fight we all thought. After all, even Superman himself looks astonished to find that there’s more to the big black Bat than meets the eye.
“The greatest gladiator match in the history of the world,” explains Jesse Eisenberg’s increasingly dorky-creepy Lex Luthor. “God versus Man… Day versus Night.”
It’s certainly shaping up to be quite the superhero battle… and with Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman thrown into the mix, you have to wonder how it’ll all play out.
‘Batman V Superman’ is directed by Zack Snyder, and is based on a screenplay by Chris Terrio and David S. Goyer. Ben Affleck stars as Batman, with henry Cavill reprising the role of Superman. Gal Gadot joins as Wonder Woman with Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Amy Adams as Lois Lane and Jeremy Irons as Alfred.
