Feng Xiaogang nominated for Best Actor again


25 Aug - Feng Xiaogang has been nominated in yet another Best Actor category, this time for the upcoming 33rd Hundred Flowers Awards.

As reported on ECNS News, the actor-director, who is nominated for his role as a former gangster in "Mr. Six", will be competing against Jing Boran, Deng Chao, and Huang Bao.

Feng previously won a similar award at the China Film Director's Guild Award, as well as the 52nd Golden Horse Awards.

Meanwhile, actress Xu Qing will be competing for the Best Actress through her role in the aforementioned movie, against Bai Baihe, Zhao Wei, and Yu Nan.

As for Best Picture, the five films that will be vying for Best Picture are "Mojin: The Lost Legend", "Monster Hunt", "Goodbye Mr. Loser", "The Dead End" and "Wolf Warriors".

The 33rd Hundred Flowers Award ceremony will be held on 24 September as part of the 25th Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival.
