New father Shawn Yue has no issues doing stunts in movies
23 Oct – Hong Kong actor Shawn Yue has no issues doing dangerous stunts for work, even if he now has a child to think about.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who appeared at a stunt show in Macau recently, stated that he doesn't really feel like he needed to be more wary of the danger in his line of work, though added that he won't have to even think about it at all.
"The crew won't really let you do these [dangerous] stunts anyway. An injured actor will only affect the filming progress," he said.
Shawn stated that wife Sarah is supportive of his career and doesn't have a lot of issues with him doing stunts in his movies. However, he admitted that she will be there with him during production whenever he is filming such a scene.
"Sometimes she will be on the set with me when there is a dangerous scene. She also came here today, but not my son," he said.
Speaking about his son Cody, Shawn stated that he is still learning how to be a good father to him.
"I am not good at changing diapers. I am responsible for the entertainment part. I would keep him company when he plays," he said.
