Fashion Week: Benetton brought a sea breeze to Milan

The Benetton brand, under Creative Director Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, opened Milan Fashion Week with an optimistic, energetic spirit. Although the signature colors of the house dynamized the collection, it was the cuts, fabrics, and prints which allowed us to speed time (or slow it down) to enjoy the well-being and carefree vibe of the summer season. A large part of the collection was designed in a nautical style, accentuated by athletic touches, that were reflected in the show's location: a 1930s swimming pool.
