'Fargo' stars Jesse Plemon and Kirsten Dunst reunite for 'The Bell Jar'
"Fargo" actor Jesse Plemons is joining the cast of Kirsten Dunst's directorial debut "The Bell Jar," reports The Hollywood Reporter.
The news will see Plemons, also known for his roles in "Breaking Bad" and "Bridge of Spies," reunited with "Fargo" co-star Dunst.
Based on Sylvia Plath's 1963 classic novel, the film is also being co-written by Dunst and is scheduled to go into production in early 2017.
Dakota Fanning will star in the movie in the lead role of Esther Greenwood.
"The themes explored in 'The Bell Jar' resonate as strongly in 2016 as they did in 1963, when the novel was first published," said Alison Thompson and Mark Gooder from Cornerstone Films, the company handling the movie's international sales.
"Kirsten Dunst's compelling vision for the film has a vibrant authenticity that modern audiences will embrace."
