Fans Think Gigi Hadid Revealed Her Baby's Gender at Her Birthday Party

• Zooming in on her birthday Instagram posts, fans noticed that pink and blue strings were tied to the balloons featured in the pics.

Gender-reveal parties have been something of a trend for expecting parents lately—and supermodel Gigi Hadid may be no exception.

After TMZ reported that Hadid is five months pregnant with her and boyfriend Zayn Malik's first child, fans combed through her recent Instagram posts for clues about the baby. What they found hinted at a possible gender reveal, taking place around the same time as her 25th birthday.

In the photos, Hadid is carrying numbered balloons—a 2 and a 5—celebrating her age. The strings attached to those balloons are pink and blue, the traditional thematic colors used in gender-reveal surprises.

One fan wrote on Twitter, "The blue and pink strings- . It was a gender reveal party as well?? Also I think that it's a boy since Gigi is holding the balloon with blue strings."

Another guessed that the presence of both colors means the couple is having twins.

Whatever the case, Hadid and Malik have yet to comment on the pregnancy reports.

Meanwhile, an insider told Entertainment Tonight, "Gigi and Zayn are expecting their first child together and the couple is very excited! Gigi has kept the secret close to her family and friends for a while, as she's only a few months along. Once Gigi and Zayn got back together at the end of last year, it was like they never skipped a beat and knew what they had was special. The couple and their families are overjoyed."

Hadid and Malik have had an on-and-off-again relationship since 2015, but seemed reconciled by the end of last year.
