Michael Strahan is a very beloved co-anchor on Good Morning America. So much so, that he has been working the double shift since September 2018, when he and Sara Haines were given GMA's third hour. But lately, Michael hasn't been in front of the cameras as often as he normally is, which is making many folks wonder ...
Where is GMA's Michael Strahan?
For starters, don't assume the worst. There is no indication that Michael is leaving his job at GMA or his co-hosting gig with Sara on Strahan and Sara. The real reason Michael hasn't been on is because he is sick, according to former Chew co-host Michael Symon. On April 30, he tweeted, "My pal @michaelstrahan is a bit under the weather ... so I will be cohosting @StrahanAndSara tomorrow with the fantastic @sarahaines at 1:00 est on ABC...tune in for some fun!"
What's more, Michael posted a photo of himself laying on the couch next to his miniature golden doodle, Enzo, trying to catch some z's. It's not clear whether or not he was sick at the time the picture was posted, but regardless, it's good to see him resting.
Bottom line here is that we'll soon see the former New York Giants defensive end back on our TVs once he's feeling 100% again.
Michael became a regular contributor on Good Morning America back in 2014. He was previously on Live! With Kelly and Michael, where he received two Daytime Emmys. He left his job with Kelly Ripa to be full-time on GMA in 2016.
Apart from that, Michael is also a football analyst on Fox NFL Sunday during the fall. Talk about a busy schedule!
