The director Douglas Mackinnon shared a list of trainee roles available on the production on social media, revealing in passing the shooting dates for the upcoming episodes.
Calling all budding TV talent! Director Douglas Mackinnon took to social media to unveil a list of proposed trainee positions to help produce the second season of the Amazon Prime Video series "Good Omens."
More precisely, it is BBC Studios that is offering these paid traineeships. A total of 10 positions are offered, from production to directing, including makeup and costumes. No experience is required to apply. The only prerequisite for applicants is to be present in Scotland, where shooting will take place.
The document also reveals the exact filming dates for this second season, which will take place from October 18 to March 11. The ad warns, however, that production will officially start on July 26 and will be based in Bathgate.
Michael Sheen and David Tennant will be returning for this second season of "Good Omens." Douglas Mackinnon will return to direct while Neil Gaiman will resume his position as co-showrunner. The series is based on the novel "Good Omens" by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, published in 1990. This second season will go beyond the novel, which served as the basis for the first season, and which launched on Amazon Prime Video in 2019.
