Fala Chen is writing the script for new project
12 Nov – After winning an award for her short film, "Passinger" earlier, Hong Kong actress Fala Chen revealed that she is currently in the process of writing a new script.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who spoke about her plans at a fashion event recently, shared that she has been writing a script for a drama that she hopes to star in soon.
"But I probably won't direct it since it would be too much of a hassle to work both in front and behind the camera," she said.
Fala stated that the new script may finish sometime next year. However, she admitted that the harder challenge is to find people to invest in her project.
"I might consider applying for government's assistance," she said.
As to whether she hopes to win an award again like she did for "Passinger", Fala said that her previous win was a surprise to her as well as she never thought about winning anything.
"But it was a great encouragement to me," she added.
