Ex-GFRIEND Yerin to make acting debut
20 Aug – Former GFRIEND member Yerin is set to make her acting debut through the upcoming web drama, "The Witch Shop Reopens".
As reported on Newsis, the news was confirmed by the singer's agency Sublime Artist on 19 August, stating that Yerin will play the lead in the said series as a dark witch who owns a shop that is on the verge of bankruptcy.
She will be joined by CIX's Yonghee, who plays Ji-Ho, a high school student who finds the said store while looking for a part-time job.
The story will revolve around the pair as they work together to revive the business.
Speaking about her debut, Yerin expressed, "I'm happy and excited to be able to show my fans a new side of me. It's my first time greeting you as an actress, so I'm very nervous, but I'm working hard to present you a good performance. Please give me a lot of support."
"The Witch Shop Reopens" is scheduled to premiere in December.
