Jurgen Klopp has drawn up a brilliant plan to sign a coveted European midfielder for Liverpool instead of Jude Bellingham, Patrick Vieira could head to Italy in his next managerial role and surprisingly work alongside another Arsenal legend, while Thursday’s Euro Paper Talk claims Tottenham are able to capture a Serie A star for €40million.

LIVERPOOL IDENTIFY PERFECT BELLINGHAM ALTERNATIVE

Liverpool have found the ideal midfielder to sign instead of Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham, with the Reds tipped to sign a Real Madrid man he is about to replace.

Last month, Liverpool pulled out of the race for Bellingham due to financial reasons. Bellingham’s price tag, which is thought to be between £115-135m, will be too expensive for Liverpool as they want to sign two midfielders and a new centre-back as well.

Klopp’s side pulling out of the battle for the Englishman gave Real and Manchester City a major boost. They immediately became the two frontrunners to snap him up from Germany.

Now, it looks like Real are poised to snare Bellingham. According to the latest from Fabrizio Romano, Bellingham ‘has accepted all the details’ of his new Real contract and is ‘excited’ to join the La Liga titans.

Real will meet with Dortmund in May to discuss the final package. It will likely put Bellingham in the top five most expensive players of all time.

Liverpool have since turned their attention to Alexis Mac Allister of Brighton. They have supposedly ‘reached a verbal agreement’ with the Argentina international, and will be able to sign him for just £40m if they send backup goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher in the other direction.

But Mac Allister is not the only player Jurgen Klopp desires as part of his midfield revamp. The manager has told Liverpool to get back on the hunt for France star Aurelien Tchouameni.

Liverpool were desperate to sign Tchouameni last summer, only to be beaten to the deal by Real. However, according to 90Min, Liverpool have reignited their interest in him.

Reds get back in the mix for Aurelien Tchouameni

The Merseyside club were recently told Tchouameni would cost €85m (£74.1m) to sign. However, Klopp has cleverly decided that Liverpool should initially sign him on a season-long loan, in order to save that £74.1m fee.

This would ensure Liverpool have the funds to capture two new midfielders, in Mac Allister and Tchouameni, as well as a new centre-half. The Reds could then use the next campaign to save up before agreeing a permanent transfer with Real for Tchouameni.

The 23-year-old has enjoyed a good first season in the Spanish capital, having played 44 times across all competitions. However, there is one crucial reason why he may just be tempted by an Anfield switch.

Bellingham’s arrival could push Tchouameni down Carlo Ancelotti’s pecking order. The serial winner can also use Federico Valverde, Toni Kroos, Luka Modric and Eduardo Camavinga in midfield.

Due to this, Klopp could try to tempt Tchouameni into finally joining Liverpool by offering him the opportunity to become the main man in their midfield.
