Eula Valdes happy to star in "The Good Son"

The Kapuso actress says that she didn't think twice when offered a role in the drama by ABS-CBN

22 Sep - Despite her many shows with GMA Network, Eula Valdes admitted that it didn't take long for her to say yes to the offer of starring in rival network ABS-CBN's new drama, "The Good Son".

As reported on PEP, the actress, who became famous for her role as Amor Powers in the original version of "Pangako Sa Yo", shared that she was excited when the Kapamilya network called and offered her a role in the new drama, especially since that it came with a good script and storyline.

"[I'm happy that] even though I'm in GMA, ABS-CBN still offers me projects," she said, adding that "The Good Son" came at a right time.

Valdes also admitted that she was also elated upon finding out that she will work with her "Maria Flordeluna" co-stars, Albert Martinez, John Estrada, and Nash Aguas.

As to whether there were any issues, especially since the filming of "The Good Son" seems to clash with her other projects, the actress clarified that the offer came even before her involvement as Hara Avria in "Encantadia", and that she made sure to tell both networks about her projects.

"The Good Son" will premiere on 25 September.
