Esther Kwan still distressed over brother's passing
6 May – Hong Kong actress Esther Kwan is revealed to still be distressed over the sudden passing of her younger brother.
As reported on Mingpao, the 54-year-old former TVB star was recently seen leaving her apartment to go to Kwun Tong, where her late brother was believed to have resided prior to his death.
She also refused to comment about the tragedy, though reporters noticed how frail she looked.
Esther's brother was revealed to have suffered serious injuries after falling off a hill while he was on a hike at Lower Shing Mun Reservoir in Shatin last month. However, he could not be saved upon arrival at the hospital.
On the other hand, it was said that husband Nick Cheung, who had left for China to begin his new movie project, is arranging to return as soon as possible, as he is worried about Esther's condition.
It is noted that Esther was the family member who organised her brother's funeral.
