Erin and Ben Napier Recalled Their "Best Date Night Ever" And It's Almost Too Cute for Words
In her recent Instagram story, Erin Napier fondly recalled her favorite date night with husband Ben.
The Home Town star said Ben's gifts "are never expensive, but they’re unbelievably priceless."
When it comes to planning a romantic date night with his wife, Ben Napier likes to think outside the box — or in this case, inside the swing set!
Ben's wife and Home Town co-star Erin Napier recently took to her Instagram stories to fondly recall the couple's "best date night ever" — when Ben turned their two-year-old daughter Helen's swing set into a romantic restaurant for Valentine's Day 2020.
Photos from the special evening showed the swing set covered in linens, and the cozy inside space decorated with candles and a paper heart garland.

"Helen’s swing set became a fancy restaurant where the attire code is jammies," Erin wrote in her caption.
While the dress code was humble, the menu sounded worthy of an upscale restaurant.
"Ben made a menu with our friend who is a chef and had him cook the best meal I’ve ever tasted (osso buco with polenta, roasted brussels sprouts, pimento cheese deviled eggs, crostini, and chocolate shortbread)," Erin raved.
"[Ben] cut a million pink hearts from construction paper and made a roaring fire popping and crackling to keep me warm," she continued. "No matter his success in life, his gifts are never expensive, but they’re unbelievably priceless. I can’t have this night in this pretend restaurant tent for two forever, it’ll just be photos in the morning. But I will remember this when I’m old and that swing set hasn’t carried Helen into the sky in 30 years. He is the most loving person I’ve ever known. I’ve cried a hundred happy tears tonight. What a surprise for an introverted, tired working mama."

Ben later shared Erin's post to his stories, and added a close second for his favorite date night with his wife.

His low-key pick from January 5, 2018 featured some delicious-looking takeout and a then-newborn baby Helen cuddled up on the couch.
