2 Sep – After three years in production, Erik Matti recently revealed that the sequel to his hit 2013 movie, "On the Job" is finally completed.
As reported on Push, the filmmaker shared the good news on social media, thanking the cast and crew for their diligence and relentless passion.
It was in December of last year that Matti admitted that the movie might be his longest film both in production length and in running time, but that it was going to be "worth it" just for the brilliance of the script written by the original scriptwriter Michiko Yamamoto.
The sequel, "On the Job 2: The Missing 8", stars Dennis Trillo, John Arcilla, Christopher de Leon, Soliman Cruz, Dante Rivero, Vandolph Quizon, Rayver Cruz, William Martinez, Ricky Davao, Ina Feleo, Isabelle De Leon and Andrea Brillantes, as well as original cast member Joel Torre.
The original stars Piolo Pascual and Gerald Anderson as two inmates who are released from prison for a short time to complete several assassination jobs.
