Your favorite historic home renovation show is coming back.
New episodes of the Nicole Curtis-helmed Rehab Addict will debut on the DIY Network this summer including a special hour-long premiere episode on Wednesday, July 11 at 8 p.m.
The exciting 60-minute episode will highlight Nicole's journey to fix up a house she bought for just $1 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. With some support from the community and her team, she'll turn the boarded-up "Dollar House" into a beauty.
The restoration will be just one of many new episodes that will make up the second half of season 8 following the first half of the season, which aired last fall.
Fans were thrilled to learn that the Detroit native would return to television after the first part of season 8 wrapped abruptly in November. "Yay! Seems like it's been forever! Can't wait," one follower wrote on Twitter. "We have been waiting a looong time. We will be tuned in," another added.
The news of an extended season comes after Nicole was forced to take a hiatus from her successful show amid a custody battle over her three-year-old son Harper. "I may have been gone for two years, but that just gave me the time to wrap my head around doing what we do better than ever," Nicole wrote on Facebook in August 2017.
This season, fans can also expect to see at least one home Nicole now rents out on Airbnb. Nicole revealed on Facebook that this little cottage will be one of the homes featured on her show this summer.
While there's no word on why season 8 was put on pause, we're just happy Nicole is back.
