Enrique Gil happy to reunite with Liza Soberano in new series
9 Dec– Enrique Gil admitted that working with Liza Soberano again in their new series was a great fun as it enabled them to spend time together.
As reported on ABS-CBN, the actor, who spoke about their upcoming series, "Make It With You", stated that he could never imagine working with another leading lady aside from his said onscreen and off-screen partner as soon as they were together again.
"Sometimes I [asked myself], maybe in the future if we have different projects, how would it feel when she's not here, if we're not together and not seeing each other? Or that... just not seeing her on taping and I won't be able to act with her, that's kinda sad," he said.
However, Gil stressed that it doesn't mean he is closing his door on working with other actresses.
"We will have to grow eventually. We can't be stuck forever in a box because we won't be able to grow as actors otherwise," he said.
Asked to describe the new series, he said, "It's another amazing, amazing love story. I hope they will really follow the journeys of the characters. They will really learn a lot as young Filipinos searching for themselves."
