English filmmaker Jonathan Glazer directs Alexander McQueen's film
Alexander McQueen presents First Light, a film directed by Jonathan Glazer, introducing their Spring/ Summer 2021 collection. For the very first time, both menswear and womenswear were being featured together in Alexander McQueen’s campaign.
Creative Director Sarah Burton has this to share about the collection: “Shape, silhouette and volume, the beauty of the bare bones of clothing stripped back to its essence. A world charged with emotion and human connection.”
Glazer is no strange to the film world; the English filmmaker, director and screenwriter is known for works including Under The Skin (2013, starring Scarlett Johansson) and Birth (2004, starring Nicole Kidman).
Glazer has been nominated several times the BAFTA Awards, the Golden Lion and the Grand Jury Prize at the Venice Film Festival.
