"Endless August" producers disrupt University

31 Aug - Several students of the East China University of Political Science and Law had expressed their frustration over the lack of respect and discipline of the production crew of the upcoming movie, "Endless August" while filming around the school area.

As reported on China Times, ECUPL students recently alleged that the crew of the movie, co-starring Korean superstar Rain and f(x)'s Chinese member Victoria Song, made a mess after filming a scene at one of the classrooms. They also shared a photo showing boxes upon boxes of litter left on the green area next to the bike park.

Students claimed that the crew disrupted some of them while they were studying at night by being loud during filming, and had also manhandled a male student causing him to bleed.

Students and lecturers at the university are now demanding for an apology from the cast and crew for the problem they have caused.

On the other hand, the "Endless August" production explained the situation in its own official statement recently, saying that they didn't cause any damages to the school property.

As for the photos, the company stated that it was taken before the shoot was completed, and that the crew would only clean up after they have finished their scenes for the day.

However, the company stated that they are willing to extend a sincere apology and that they have already reached an understanding with the relevant parties to ensure the same issue will not take place in the future.

They also stressed that the incident has nothing to do with its stars, particularly Rain and Victoria, and strongly encouraged people not to implicate others in the issue.
