The film tells the story of an HR manager who seeks the mentorship of a coveted escort to better connect with other people and her own emotions, but soon opens her heart to unexpected feelings.

Speaking about the theme of the movie, delos Reyes stated, "Nowadays, in the advent of technology and social media, we put on different masks and we create our own world. Hoping that in that world we would be able to find the love and fulfilment we have always been seeking. He also expressed elation over news that the movie would go to Netflix, saying, "It goes to show that there is no way for us to stop telling our stories."
