Enchong Dee fulfills dream to establish rock academy
2 Apr – No, this is not at all related to Jack Black's hit 2003 movie - Enchong Dee truly is opening his own School of Rock.
The actor shared the good news on social media, saying that he and his business partners are opening the Academy of Rock (AOR) Philippines, which he said has been a dream of his for a long time.
"I always equate education to empowerment. When a citizen has knowledge, his dreams go farther. It's been a dream to open up my own school, and so I'm proud to announce that my partners and I are opening Academy of Rock Philippines, a totally different team from the former," he wrote.
Dee stated that the academy will be one of the few businesses that he will personally supervise to make sure that the quality of music education will be at par with their Singaporean counterpart.
"And yes, we have one classroom one student policy," he added.
First established in Singapore, AOR is the only music school in the country that dedicates itself to teaching rock and popular music, with its mission to raise the musicality of the country's youths and promote rock music appreciation through a fun approach in learning.
