Emmy Quickie: ‘Shameless’ Stunt Coordinator on How ‘Everybody Likes Getting Naked on This Show’ (Exclusive Video)
Showtime’s “Shameless” can frequently be a rough show, with characters who take physical swipes at each other almost as frequently as they do verbal ones.
The man behind the comedy’s many kerfuffles is Emmy-nominated stunt coordinator Eddie Perez, the first Hispanic nominee in the category’s history.
But Perez said the history-making job took some getting used to at first.

“Everybody likes getting naked on this show,” Perez told TheWrap in a recent interview.
He recalled how surprised he would be at the cast’s willingness to strip down for the physical comedy. “The real problem is [going to be] going from ‘Shameless’ to another show and dialing it down,” he joked.
