Emily Wong won't sign with TVB
21 Jun – Juliette Louie is not the only Miss Hong Kong 2017's alumna who is leaving, as it was revealed that 2nd runner-up Emily Wong will also be making an exit soon.
As reported on Singtao Daily, the news was confirmed by the 24-year-old herself, who shared that she will be returning to the United States instead of signing with TVB like most beauty queens before her.
When asked about her future plans, Emily said that she would like to engage in work relating to her first love - fashion design.
It was understood that the beauty queen has always wanted to create her own fashion label.
On the other hand, first runner-up Regina Ho confirmed that she will continue to develop with TVB.
Prior to Emily's decision, it was reported that winner Juliette Louie is planning to return to Canada after crowning her successor. The beauty queen admitted that she is eyeing a bigger prize - an opportunity to make it big in Hollywood.
