Working alongside Tom Hardy would be a defining moment in any actor’s career, but getting to work with him twice, playing two different roles within the same film, is even better.

We sat down with Emily Browning, who plays Reggie Kray’s wife Frances in the film Legend.

She spoke to us about how she prepared for the role, how important her dialect coach was to her and what it felt like to act alongside Tom Hardy as he delved deep into the psychologies of two equally brutal, but extremely different characters.

Emily describes how the atmosphere on set changed, depending on whether Tom was the guise of Ronnie Kray or Reggie Kray.
