Earlier this week, Emilia Wickstead accused Meghan Markle's wedding dress of ripping off one of her own designs. Now, the famous dress designer has seemingly had her Twitter account suspended.

To recap-following the royal wedding, Wickstead spoke to The Daily Mail about Markle's gown saying, "Her dress is identical to one of our dresses. Apparently a lot of commentators were saying, 'It’s an Emilia Wickstead dress.'"

Also following the royal wedding, Emilia Wickstead's Bridal team posted several photos of a dress very similar in style to Markle's Givenchy gown by Clare Wright Keller, along with the hashtags "#royalwedding" and" #meghanmarkleweddingdress." This marketing ploy appeared to be an unsubtle attempt to piggy back on the Duchess of Sussex's wedding gown style.

The designer even went so far as to criticize Markle's wedding style, telling The Daily Mail, "If you choose a simple design the fit should be perfect. Her wedding dress was quite loose."

And now, mere days after her claims that Markle's dress was a ripoff, according to The Daily Mail, Wickstead's Twitter account has been suspended. Any attempt to visit the designer's former Twitter account does, indeed, result in being shown an account suspended notice. Right now, it's unclear why this is, but disgruntled Markle fans have taken unfavorably to Wickstead's comments, so it's possible this is the cause.

Prior to her comments, Emilia Wickstead's designs had been worn by celebrities and royals alike, with Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle often selecting her styles.
